Submission Policy

Participants to the WCCM 2012 may be an author of multiple abstracts, but may be the presenting author of only one abstract. In view of this one-registration–one-presentation policy, only the presenting author of an abstract is asked to perform the abstract submission.
Also, he/she must be pre-registered in order to perform the submission. Please click on Pre-Registration if you are the presenting author and have not made your pre-registration yet.

Abstract preparation and submission

Abstracts must be submitted online by clicking on Submit Abstract.

An abstract consists of a text of up to 2400 characters (text only) which must be inserted into the appropriate field at the Submit Abstract button. No files are to be uploaded. The abstract title, authors’ affiliations and keywords are to be provided separately from the text, at specific fields.

Should you have any questions regarding your abstract preparation or submission, please contact us at secretariat@wccm2012.com.

Optional full-length paper

Authors of an accepted abstract can prepare and submit a paper or full-length version of his/her contribution. This optional full-length paper will be published as a chapter in the electronic book Computational Mechanics 2012, as part of the Congress Proceedings.

If you want to submit such a paper, please download the Latex and MS-Word templates by clicking here.

After preparation of your paper, you should generate a PDF file for submission. Please name this file with the initials WCCM2012-, followed by the abstract Id number you have received from the Local Organizing Committee at the time you submitted your abstract. As an example, if your abstract Id is 12345, your file should be named WCCM2012-12345.pdf. Then send it by e-mail to secretariat@wccm2012.com .

Indexation

Conference proceedings will receive ISBN number and will be submitted to indexation to Web of Science (Thomson & Reuters), Compendex & EI (Elsevier).
