ABMEC fellowships
The Brazilian Association for Computational Methods in Engineering (ABMEC) is offering a limited number of scholarships to support the participation of Latin-Americans in the WCCM 2012. The scholarship consists of a US$ 250 discount on the Congress Registration Fee.
Eligibility
To be eligible, the applicant must be a current graduate student, a post-doctoral fellow or to work on a research institution located in Latin America. Retired researchers are also eligible for a scholarship. The applicant does not need to submit an abstract to the WCCM 2012. But the applicant can still submit an abstract. Please send your abstract to us to secretaria@wccm2012.com and we will evaluate it. If it is accepted, we will try to accommodate it into an appropriate mini-symposium.
Application procedure
Open, save and fill in the Application Form;
Attach the following documents: (1) a one-page (maximum) curriculum vitae, and (2) an official proof of his/her status (e.g. a letter from an officer of the Graduate School, or from the Research Institution of which the applicant is affiliated);
E-mail the above items to secretariat@wccm2012.com by no later than May 20th, 2012.
Important Dates
The final deadline for fellowship application is May 20th, 2012. Applicants will be readily notified about the result. Fellowship awardees will be instructed on how to proceed to register for the Congress with the discount.
